MesterAlliansen's trade businesses spent up to an hour per site inspection on traditional measuring and documentation. Measurements had to be recorded manually, drawings were done by hand, and the office work following inspections was time-consuming. For a network of more than 40 businesses across the country, this created enormous inefficiencies in daily operations.
The solution with Wenn Property
Henning Eriksen, Managing Director of MesterAlliansen, came across Wenn Property’s AI tool by chance through a colleague. From there, meetings, testing, and adaptation of the tool to the painting trade followed in quick succession.
MesterAlliansen is a trades network founded in 2015. The member-owned company, which today covers large parts of Norway, includes more than 40 businesses in painting, flooring, and facade work.
Eriksen points to significant efficiency gains for MesterAlliansen’s trade businesses: scanning delivers drawings, measurements, and quantity takeoffs in under a minute. One of their businesses in Bergen reports that they previously spent an hour on the same task.
Eriksen also highlights another major advantage: the app collects all necessary documentation in one place. All documentation can simply be sent by email or saved to a PC.
Wenn Property’s AI tool will initially be used by MesterAlliansen’s painting, facade, and flooring businesses — but the tool can easily be adapted to the needs of other trades as well.
